Different to others Live DVD, Linux for Programming Live DVD is virtual machine image based solution.  The core Linux system is a Virtual Box image on the DVD media.  Users can update the core system image with Virtual Box virtual machine. The image then can be used to product  another DVD ISO file for burning to physical media with appropriate software.
